Selinsgrove, Pa. – Marywood University sophomore Mia Nardone broke the 100 IM school record in the women's swimming and diving team's loss to Drew University and Susquehanna University Saturday in a Landmark Conference tri-match. The Pacers' men's team also fell to the Rangers and River Hawks.

Drew beat the Pacers by scores of 149-128 (women) and 145-99 (men). The team scores for the Susquehanna meet were unavailable at press time.

Nardone took third place in the record-breaking 100 IM race. She finished in 1:06.94. Nardone placed second in the 100 butterfly with a 1:02.81 and fifth in the 100 backstroke at 1:06.1.

On the men's side, Joe Buderwitz came short by just two-hundreths of a second to Drew's Jack Mahoney in the 200 free. Buderwitz touched the wall in 1:48.78.

Marywood's diving corps continued to impress. Courtney Snyder led three Pacers' women with a 211.2 for second. Justin Stonier also was second with a 189.6.

Allison McCarthy earned third place in the 1,000 free in 12:16.29. Julissa Quezada also posted third in the 200 butterfly with a 2:31.83.

Freshman Jared Lubarsky needed a 2:13.36 to take second in the 200 back.

Paul Kraycer swam the 100 back in 57.7 seconds for third place. Evan Romines was third in the 200 brest in 2:35.13.

Bryon Scholl clocked in at 2:13.2 for third in the 200 butterfly. He matched his placing in the 100 free with a 49.97 second swim and 500 free in 5:08.92.

Marywood's 400 free relay of Scholl, Freeman, Wes Yancey and Kraycer claimed second with 3:28.53.
