Madison, N.J. - Goals from Betsy Macko and Lindsey Quinn were not enough as Marywood University's field hockey team fell to FDU-Florham in the first round of the ECAC tournament Wednesday evening in Madison, New Jersey.  Marywood closes their season at 12-8.  The Devils improved to 15-6 and advance to the ECAC semifinal round this weekend.

The host Devils jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a penalty stroke goal from Kim Davis.  Dvais would then double the host's lead in the 24th minute when she blasted a shot to the bottom right pocket of the cage off a feed from Erin O'Connell.  Davis' goals were her 20th and 21st of the season.

Marywood made it 2-1 in the 28th minute when Macko scored off a helper from Tori Jo Kakusian.

The Pacers would get the loan goal of the second half in the 46th minute when Quinn tipped in a shot off a pass from Amelia Waibel on the right side.

Mountz made eight saves on the night for Marywood while Kirsten Webb picked up a defensive save, her second of the season.
