Binghamton, N.Y. - Division I Binghamton University exploded out of the gates and cruised to a 101-54 win over Marywood University Friday afternoon.  The Bearcats were 6-of-8 from three-point range in the opening nine minutes of the game and used a 22-4 run during that stretch to put the game out of reach early.  BU improved to 9-6 while Marywood dropped to 0-10 on the year.

Tip Swartz and James Curley led Marywood with eight points apiece as no Pacer reached double digits in the loss.  Binghamton was led by Willie Rodriguez's game-high 21.  John Rinaldi had 10 boards while Everson Davis added 15 points for the Bearcats.  Rodriguez was 9 of 10 from the floor.  

BU opened the game with an inside bucket but Curley answered with a three at the other end to give the Pacers a 3-2 lead.  From there, the hosts exploded, nailing back-to-back threes and eventually going on a 22-4 run.  Binghamton shot 61.1% from the floor from the game (33 of 54) while Marywood was held to 37% (20 of 54) shooting.  

The Bearcats made 14 trey's in the game to Marywood's seven, and held a commanding 37-23 lead in rebounds.  

The Pacers are back in action January 3 when they travel to Neumann for an 8:00 pm CSAC game.
