Scranton, Pa. - Moravian College hit four three pointers in the opening five minutes and used a stifling defense to force 33 turnovers as the Greyhounds improved to 6-1 with a 84-51 win over Marywood Tuesday night in Scranton. The Pacers fell to 0-8 with the loss.

Moravian forced 16 first half turnovers and went into the locker room up 45-31.  That score could have flipped either way, as each team hit 65 percent from the charity stripe in the first half. Moravian could have expanded on their lead if not for its 13 of 20 effort from the line, while Marywood could have closed that gap but hit only 15 of 23 first half freebies.

The Greyhounds opened the second half on a 22-0 run over the opening 8:30 and never looked back.  A bucket from Jeremy Ringland ended that run but the Greyhounds answered with a three at the other end.

Four players were in double digits for the visitors, led by Brandon McGuire's game high 18.  He also grabbed 10 boards to complete the double-double.

Marywood was led by Ringland's 10.

Marywood is back in action Dec. 19 when it hosts Muhlenberg at 7:00 pm.
