Scranton, PA - The University of Scranton picked up a 9-0 non-conference men's tennis win over Marywood University Wednesday afternoon at Royal Courts in Scranton. Marywood fell to 2-6 overall with the loss while Scranton improved to 3-8.

Alec Bird and Dan Tintle put forth a fantastic effort at #1 doubles but fell 8-6.  That would prove to be the closest match of the afternoon in both singles and doubles play.  Marywood dropped number two singles 8-0 and number three 8-3.

In singles, Ahmed AlOreif lost 6-3, 6-2 in the closest match in the number two flight.

The Pacers are back in action Friday when they travel to Cabrini College for a 3:00 pm CSAC match.
