Scranton, PA - The University of Scranton allowed just seven points on the day from Marywood University as the Royals picked up a 9-0 non-conference women's tennis win Thursday afternoon over the Pacers.  Scranton improved to 9-5 on the year while Marywood closed the 2015-16 campaign with a 11-8 mark.

After taking all three doubles matches by a score of 8-0, Scranton won number five singles by a 6-0, 6-0 score.  The only points allowed were at 6-1, 6-0 matches at number one, four and six singles, a 6-2, 6-0 win at number two and a 6-0, 6-2 win at number three.

First-year Head Coach Aimee Wentzel expects to return seven of eight rostered players from her 2015 CSAC Runner-Up team.  Devon Underwood closed out her career in the fall.
