Scranton, PA - Keystone College finished off a three-game series sweep of Marywood University with a pair of wins Saturday as the Giants won game one 7-2 and the nightcap 9-1.  The Giants move to 20-5 on the year (7-2 CSAC) while the Pacers fell to 8-14 (1-8 CSAC).

Keystone trailed the Pacers 2-0 through four and 2-1 through five in the opener but exploded for a six-run sixth the seal the 7-2 win. 

Marywood got on the board thanks to RBI singles from David Ortiz and Daniel Hull.  Keystone got one back in the fifth thanks to a RBI double from Tony Hunter, and would erupt for six runs on seven hits in the top of the sixth.

Vince Rebar was 2-for-2 for the Pacers in the opener while Tony Hunter went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI for the Giants.  Jeffreg Ledesma got the win after pitching 2.1 innings of relief for Keystone.  James Goetz took the loss in 5.2 innings worked.

In game two, Marywood again had an early lead as the were up 1-0 on the Giants through three.  Once again, Keystone answered with a big inning, this time a five-run fifth, to take the lead.  The Giants would add three in the sixth for an eight-run stretch over two innings that put the Pacers away.

Rebar had another strong game at the plate for Marywood, going 3-for-4 with a triple, but for the second straight game was the only Pacer with multiple hits in the game.

Nick DeCandia tok the loss after 3.2 innings of work.  Bill Nelson got the win for Keystone to improve to 3-1.

Marywood will host Wilkes University Tuesday at 3:30 pm in a non-conference game.
