Thomas Medals as Pacers fall to Scranton

Moosic, PA - Michael Thomas fired a low round of 76 on the day but Marywood University fell to the University of Scranton 317-345 in a men's golf dual match Wednesday afternoon at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic.

After Thomas' top performance of the day, his fourth medalist honors of the year, Scranton took the next six low rounds to win the match.

Steven Lambrinakos was two behind Thomas with a 78 on the par 71, 6,308 yard course while teammates Tyler Huggins and Andrew Milisits tied for third with rounds of 79.

Matt Mierzejewski tied with Scranton's David Harris for seventh as both finished with 85.  

The Pacers are back in action Thursday and Friday at the Farmingdale State Inviational which will be played on the famous Bethpage State Park Course in Long Island.
