Women's Golf Splits Final Matches in 2016

Wilkes-Barre, PA - Marywood Univesity split the final matches of their inaugural women's golf season as the Pacers defeated Arcadia 3-1 and lost to Wilkes 3-1 in match play at Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course Thursday afternoon.  Marywood concludes their first year with a 4-4 record.

Emily Osborne was 2-0 on the day to conclude her outstanding athletic career at Marywood. Osborne also played women's soccer and women's lacrosse at Marywood.  Osborne picked up a 2-up win over Wilkes' Christy Taylor and a 9 & 7 win over Arcadia's Kasey Frey.

Kim Geary and Susan Durand also picked up wins for the Pacers on the day as Geary was a 8 & 7 winner over Arcadia's Jacqueline Lutchke and Durand won 4 & 3 over Rose Georgias in the Arcadia match.

Wilkes defeated Arcadia 4-0 in the other match.
