Hackettstown, NJ - Marywood University fell to host Centenary College 12-2 in CSAC baseball action to open a three-game series with the Cyclones.

Marywood (9-15, 1-9 CSAC) held a 1-0 lead thanks to a RBI infield single from Mitch Clemons that scored Matt Staback, who had doubled to open the inning.  An inning and a half later, the Cyclones (15-10, 5-5) answered with a pair of runs, and, after going up 4-1 in the bottom of the seventh would exploded for an eight-run eighth and a 12-1 lead.

Staback finished the game 3-for-4 for Marywood with a pair of doubles. Clemons and Daniel Hull had the Pacers RBIs.

Marywood will host Centenary in a doubleheader tomorrow with game one beginning at 12:00 pm.
