Scranton, PA - Marywood University's men's and women's tennis teams both hosted Wilkes University Wednesday afternoon and both fell to the Colonels by a score of 9-0.  Wilkes improved to 12-1 on the men's side and 12-2 on the women's side while Marywood saw their men's record fall to 2-4 and their women's to 11-6.

Wilkes made quick work of the Pacers to open doubles as the squads split courts to get both matches in.  On the men's side, Wilkes won 1-3 singles 8-2, 8-0 and 8-1 while on the women's side the Colonels got 8-3, 8-0 and 8-0 wins.

In pro-set singles action, the closest matches of the afternoon came at #1 singles where Kendra Croker picked up an 8-4 win over Marywood's Avery McCall in the women's match and Jayson (Courtney) Murphy earned a 8-4 win over Alec Bird.

Marywood's men's team will host Neumann Saturday at 1:00 pm while the women will travel to King's on April 11.
