Immaculata, PA - Immaculata scored six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to break open an otherwise tight game and the host Mighty Macs went on to a 14-6 win over Marywood University Friday afternoon. The loss snapped Marywood's three-game win streak and sends the Pacers to 7-10 (0-4 CSAC).

After Marywood scored two to open the game on a RBI groundout from Matt Staback and a RBI double to left center from Tommy Smith, Immaculata (15-10, 5-2 CSAC) answered with a five run first.

Marywood tied things up over the next two innings thanks to an RBI single from James Goetz in the second and RBIs from Michael Schlichtig and Alan Nieto in the fourth but the hosts quickly went back up 6-5 with a run in the bottom of the third.

The Pacers plated another run in the fourth on Smith's second RBI of the game, a single up the middle, but the hosts once again answered in their own half of the inning to go back up 8-6.

Marywood was held scoreless in their final five at-bats.
