Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University and Arcadia University ended a three-game string of season-opening draws to kick off the season Thursday. The Knights prevailed with a 4-1 victory over the Pacers.

Less than two minutes after Matthew Hull evened the score at one apiece, Arcadia reclaimed the lead with the go-ahead goal in the 49th minute. Bradley McKim was awarded a penalty kick for a tackle in the box. McKim's shot was saved by goalkeeper Patrick Brogan; however, he scored off the rebound of the penalty kick.

Hull tied the game in the 47th minute with a goal from a set piece. He plotted a ball just inside the top left corner from just beyond the penalty box.

McKim kicked off a streak of three straight Knight goals to close the game. McKim took a Georges Fiori feed that went through a defender and shot to the opposite side of net for a 3-1 advantage.

Brandon Pryor netted a spectacular goal in the 74th from McKim's fifth point of the day. Off a corner kick, McKim redirected with a header to the near side where Pryor awaited to hammer it for goal.

Ryan Keeter put Arcadia on top in the fifth minute.

Marywood keeper Patrick Brogan made four saves. Chris Watson also made four saves and was helped by a team save that stopped a Zach Oster header.

The Pacers return to their home field Sunday afternoon to take on Wilkes University at 2:00 p.m.
