Glenside, Pa. – Regional power Arcadia University scored a pair of goals early and added four second half tallies as the Pacers were shutout by the Knights 6-0 in the opening game of the Arcadia Invitational Saturday afternoon in Glenside.  The Knights move to 5-0 on the year while Marywood falls to 0-3.

Just over four minutes into the game, Karlie Flowers fed a through ball down the middle of the field to Kayla Haberbosch who beat Marywood keeper Aly Moyer for the 1-0 Arcadia lead.

In the 21st minute of action, Jess Kelly and Mia Bertolami played a nifty give and go to each other on the right flank with Kelly doubling the host's lead on her second tally of the season.

The score would remain 2-0 until the 58th minute of play when Kristen Carrete bent a ball into the upper right corner of the net off a helper from Tara Smith.
The Knights would add goals from Lennon Kramer and another from both Kelly and Haberbosch in a seven minute span later in the half to close the scoring.

Marywood will take on Delaware Valley University at 1:00 pm Sunday at Arcadia in the consolation game. The Aggies fell to Muhlenberg 3-0 in the other opening round game.  The Mules will face Arcadia for the Championship at 4:00 pm.
