The Pacers trailed by two goals after 12 minutes before netting nine consecutive tallies. With nine goals and six assists, the Pacers also set a program record with 24 points scored. The previous high for goals in a game was eight versus Practical Bible (now Davis College) on Sept. 4, 2003. Marc-Daniel Montinard finished with two goals and two assists for six points. Prior to today, the senior forward had never recorded a point during his career. In another career day, junior Daniel Gallagher came into today with just one assist in his career.  Gallagher scored two goals and an assist against the Knights, all coming in the first half. Dylan McMahon finished with a goal and an assist. Zach Oster, Jimmy Fields, Cody Gangware and Chris Reynolds each scored for the Pacers. Junior J.R. Hall had his first point with an assist. Tommy McGlennon notched the second victory of his career with four saves, including a pair of second half stops on breakaway chances. Kevin Sullivan appeared in goal for 8:10 without any shots on target. Berkeley jumped ahead with two early goals on a befuddled defense. The Knights' tall and speedy forward Osondu Esonwune scored on a breakaway goal, breaking free from defenders on an Emmanuel Poko-Adusei pass for a 25-yard run to goal in the sixth minute. Six minutes later, Esonwune backheeled a pass to defender Ali Dawha. Dawha took an open lane to the middle of the box and scored for a surprising 2-0 lead over the Pacers. The two-goal deficit lasted all of 45 seconds when Montinard scored his first career goal. Off of a throw-in, Montinard headed the ball off the post. He caught his own rebound and headed into the goal. In the 23th minute, Marywood evened the score from Montinard's first assist. He sent a long pass from the left sideline to Gallagher. Gallagher headed the pass into the right corner of the goal for the first of his career. Gallagher put the Pacers ahead 3-2 in the 27th minute. McMahon passed to a wide-open Gallagher on the right flank. Gallagher curned the shot into the left side from 17 yards out. Oster, Reynolds, Gangware and McMahon each scored their first goals of the season as the Pacers piled it on offensively over the remaining 60 minutes. It was Reynolds' first goal in a Pacers' uniform. Oster and Reynolds scored their goals within 35 seconds of each other in the 37th and 38th minutes, respectively. Marywood outshot Berkeley by a 31-6 margin.
