Collegeville, Pa. – Marywood University allowed just two own goals in a 2-1 double overtime loss to Ursinus College Wednesday in a non-conference men's soccer tilt. The Bears scored in the 104th minute to end the game.

Ursinus tabbed the game-winner on a throw-in that deflected twice before going into the goal. The Bears sent the Pacers' 1-0 lead to an impasse when a defender deflected it in off of a free kick.

Marywood went ahead early in the fifth minute. Cody Gangware headed a ricochet off of the cross bar via a Daniel Gallagher shot attempt. It was Gangware's second goal of the season, and Gallagher's second assist of the year.

Brogan took the loss despite allowing any opponent to score. He made five saves to raise his season save percentage to .714.

Ursinus edged the Pacers 10-8 on shots and 7-6 on shots on target. Both keepers made five saves. The Bears upped the Pacers 7-4 on corner kicks. They also committed seven offsides to the Pacers' one.

It is the Pacers' first overtime loss since falling to Cabrini College on Oct. 17, 2015.

Marywood (2-4) is back at it Saturday when it kicks off its Colonial States Athletic Conference schedule with a home date against Keystone College at 7:00 pm.
