Gettysburg, Pa. – Marywood University went winless at the Battlefield Classic Friday and Saturday, dropping its four matches of the season. Marywood fell in three sets to Dickinson College, Messiah College and Gettysburg College. The Pacers won one set in a 3-1 loss to Gallaudet University.

Gallaudet 3, Marywood 1
 
Marywood won its lone set of the weekend in a loss to Gallaudent. The Bison won by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 21-25, 25-23.
 
Danielle DeIulio had a double-double with 23 assists and 10 digs. Likewise, Mallorie Deschaine provided 12 kills and 10 digs.
 
Jordan Vossler provided 18 digs. Katherine McGrath chipped in with four aces.
 
Thirteen of the Pacers' 31 kills came in the third set.
 
Gettysburg 3, Marywood 0
 
The Bullets prevailed by scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-13.
 
Marywood received seven kills from Deschaine. Vossler had 14 digs, and DeIulio totaled 13 assists.
 
Dickinson 3, Marywood 0
 
Marywood started its season by falling 25-19, 25-21, 25-16 to the Red Devils.
 
Deschaine again was the top hitter with eight kills on just one attack error. She also led the team with 13 digs and four blocks.
 
As a team, the Pacers totaled nine blocks.
 
Messiah 3, Marywood 0
 
Marywood came short in a tight first match before falling to the Falcons by scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-17.
 
Deschaine produced nine kills, one error on 20 attempts. Peri Sheerin and Lauren Besecker contributed with four kills apiece.
 
Jordan Vossler had her best outing of the tournament with 19 digs. Deschaine manufactured 14 digs and three blocks. DeIulio made 14 assists.
 
Marywood has its home opener against Ursinus College Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the Insalaco Arena.
