LaPlume, Pa. - Jeremy Ringland's game-high 24 points led four Marywood players in double figures as the Pacers picked up their first win of the season with a 74-68 victory over Keystone College.  Marywood (1-11, 1-4 CSAC) also got double-digit points from Michael Rotell (17), James Curley (14) and Dexter Shy (11) in the win.

Keystone fell to 4-7 (1-4 CSAC) with the loss.

Rotell completed the first double-double of the Pacers' season with a game-high 10 boards. ShaShawn Drayton had a team-high 19 for the Giants in the loss.

After the two teams traded early leads, a Ringland three gave Marywood a 19-12 cushion midway through the first half.  A 16-0 run from the Giants quashed that Marywood lead, and the Pacers had to fight to close the gap the rest of the first half.  Down 28-19, Marywood used a 9-0 run in under two minutes to knot the contest at 28-28 with 0:46 left in the opening half.  A Curley three with 10 seconds left gave the Pacers a 32-30 lead heading into the break.

Marywood would keep the Giants at bay much of the second half, but the host tied the game up at 62 with just under five to play.  Marywood closed the game with a 9-5 advantage over the final three minutes to secure the win.

Marywood shot 40% from the floor and 43% from three point land on the night while holding Keystone to 38% shooting from the floor and 33% from beyond the arc.  Both teams had 38 boards.

Marywood returns to the hardwood Saturday when they host Immaculata University at the backend of a men's and women's doubleheader. Tip-off is slated for 3:00 pm.
