Box Score 2 Scranton, Pa. – The Marywood University women's volleyball team swept a tri-match with a pair of three-set victories Thursday night over Clarks Summit University and Bryn Mawr College. The victory clinches the Pacers' (8-15, 6-2) berth to the Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs.
The Pacers defeated the Defenders by scores of 25-23, 25-11, 25-13. Marywood downed the Owls by scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-18 in the nightcap.

Peri Sheerin provided the Pacers with 11 kills, three aces and a .364 attack percentage.
Katherine McGrath had nine kills and a team-high .389 attack percentage.
Annie Heyen continued her torrid performance at the service line with four aces. She tallied 37 aces to place third in the modern-day school record book for a three-set match.
Jordan Vossler posted a team-high 14 digs for the Pacers. She also had four aces.
Marywood shot .242 as a squad. Clarks Summit garnered a minus-.026 attack percentage.
Grace Evans gave the Defenders a match-high 16 digs. Alexa Wagner assisted on 10 of the team's 17 kills.

In the 3-0 win over Bryn Mawr, Sheerin led the Pacers with 14 kills
Sam Compton added eight and
Katherine McGrath five. Sheerin also had three aces, as did Gabriella Sants and Vossler.
McGrath and Mikayla Attwood each had two blocks while Heyan added 29 assists to her earlier total of 37 against Clarks Summit to give her 66 for the evening.
Brenna Kelley had eight digs while Sheerin and Compton each added six.
Marywood returns to action Saturday at a non-conference tri-match hosted by Rutgers-Camden. The Pacers will take on Penn State Berks at 2:00 pm before meeting the hosts at approximately 4:00 pm.
