Scranton, Pa. – In an extemporaneously played game rescheduled due to the incoming nor'easter, Marywood University ended a two-game slide to hold off Lycoming College 12-10 Monday in women's lacrosse. The Pacers came out on top during their third straight game played within a four-goal differential.

The game was originally scheduled to be played in Williamsport on Wednesday.

Kylie Winton found Bussinelli on her free-position attempt to go ahead 10-8. McGinniss responded 14 seconds later right off of the draw control. Lycoming trimmed its hole to two goals when goalkeeper Nicole Gerling hit Jordan Lazarich on the run for a rare assist with 2:27. Lazarich nearly engineered a full comeback after winning a 22-second draw control and added a key groundball pickup; however, Smith made a save on a McGinniss shot with 72 seconds left that was the Warriors' final chance at goal.

Lycoming started the game with an early 2-1 lead when Hailey Kimble scored at the 20:47 mark of the first. Kelly halted Lyco's momentum when she intercepted a pass from the goalkeeper and scored into an empty net 41 seconds later.
