Clarks Summit, Pa. - Marywood University dropped a non-conference match to Elmira College Thursday afternoon to open their spring men's tennis schedule.  The Pacers (0-3) fell to the Soaring Eagles (3-3) by a score of 9-0 at Birchwood Tennis Club in Clarks Summit.

The visitors jumped out to a 3-0 lead through doubles play after winning all three matches by a score of 8-2.

In singles action, Theo Tran defeated Steven Price 6-3, 6-0 at the top flight and Anthony Colavito recorded a 6-1, 6-1 win over Bryon Scholl at two-singles action.  Brendan O'Rourke was blanked 6-0, 6-0 by Elmira's Patrick Tracey at three-singles, and Yaniv Kogan defeated John Shebby 6-2, 6-0 in the four-singles flight.

Steven Gervase kept the Soaring Eagles going at five-singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Eddie Sanborn III, while Jordan Curtis closed the match with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Momar Fall at six-singles.

Marywood opens CSAC play tomorrow at Immaculata.
