Mount Cobb, Pa. - The University of Scranton took down Marywood University 310-326 in men's golf action Tuesday afternoon at Scranton Municipal Golf Course in Mount Cobb. Erik Ridley led the Royals with medalist honors after shooting and even-par 72. Nicholas Biondi (Johnson) led Marywood with a 72.
After Johnson's second place finish, The University of Scranton had the next top four finishers. Patrick Budicini was third with a 77, Tyler Huggins shot an 80 while Kyle Hayes and Steven Lambrinakos each shot an 81.
Justin Haddix had the next lowest round for the Pacers, shooting a 82 along with Matt Mierzejewski.
Following Scranton's David Harris (84) and Andrew Millisits (85), Marywood's Joe Weber shot an 88. Fred Tolerico (89), Austin Zehel (92) and Joseph Hunt (93) also played for Marywood.
The Pacers are in action again tomorrow at the Wyoming Valley Country Club in Hanover Township. Marywood will take on host King's College and DeSales University in a tri-match.
