Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University clinched the No. 2 seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference men's lacrosse playoffs with a 24-3 win Wednesday over Keystone College. Needing a win and a Gwynedd Mercy loss to No. 10 Cabrini to earn the spot, the Pacers will host third-seeded Centenary University on Saturday in the semifinal.

Matt Casto became the ninth Marywood player to reach the 100 Point Club, leapfrogging into seventh all-time with four goals and six assists. Casto's 10 points tied Sam Trill '15 and Riley Dobel '15 (both set in 2013 vs. Immaculata) for the most single-game points. His six assists were the second-most for a single game, matching a figure Dylan Swope '15 achieved against Rosemont in 2013.

Casto improved his numbers to push him to second in single-season points (37), third in single-season goals (37), and tied for third in single-season assists (27).

Riley Litman broke the program's single-game record with 23 faceoff wins. He shattered a two-year record of 17 he previously set versus Wilkes. Litman provided the Pacers with a goal, two assists and 10 ground balls.

Marywood broke single-game records of shots (86) and shots on goal (56).

Rob Maini scored three goal and an assists. Eric Morin, Jeff Johnsen, Austin Maylor and Vito Barraco each had two goals.

Defensively, Bobby Sedlock caused four turnovers and picked up three ground balls. Robbie Pickeral had five ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Alex Samuel made five saves in net for the Pacers in limited time.

Keystone's Nicholas Vazquez did his best to thwart the Pacers' barrage of shots with 34 saves. Alex Lloyd scored a hat trick.

Marywood's CSAC semi tilt with Centenary is slated for 1:00 pm.
