Men's Tennis Closes with 7-2 Win Over Cougars

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University took five of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches to defeat Misericordia University 7-2 in non-conference men's tennis action.

Marywood closes the season with a 3-9 overall mark. Misericordia fell to 2-8 with the loss.

All three doubles matches ended in scores of 8-6.  Ahmed AlOreif and Bryon Scholl were victors at one-doubles while Momar Fall and Ulises Munoz-Santos earned a win at three-doubles.

In singles play, AlOreif won 6-0, 6-1 in the top flight.  Steven Price followed with a 6-4, 6-4 win at number two, while Scholl defeated Murph Lynch 6-1, 6-1 at number three.

Brendan O'Rourke (6-4, 6-4) won at four singles and John Shebby gave the Pacers their final point with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Trey Ziegler at five singles.  Misericordia won matches at two doubles and six singles.
