North Coventry, Pa. - Nicholas Biondi won the 2017 CSAC Men's Golf Individual Championship, earning medalist honors with a two day total of 145 (71, 74).  Marywood had their title streak snapped and finished third as a team (664) after back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016.

Biondi had a three-shot lead heading into the final round after firing an even-par 71 on opening day at Bellewood Golf & Country Club.  On day two, Biondi was three over and wound up beating Cabrini's David Gall by three strokes.  Biondi was named First Team All-Conference, and was the only Pacer to make first or second team.

Fred Tolerico was Marywood's representative on the CSAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

Cabrini University placed three players in the top five and four in the top 10 to take home the team title and earn the CSAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament.  The Cavaliers shot a two day score of 611 and beat Rosemont College by six strokes.

Stronger play on day two allowed the Pacers to jump Immaculata for a third place finish. Marywood shot a 337 on day one but dropped their score 10 strokes on day two for a 327.  Immaculata had a 327 on day one but shot a 339 on day two to finish fourth.

Matthew Mierzejewski shot a 168 (87, 81) to finish tied for 16th.  He improved by six strokes on day two (87, 81).  Joe Weber was Marywood's next finisher, finishing 19th overall, with a two day total of 172.  He was 10 strokes better on day two (91, 81).

Tolerico finished 27th overall with a 182 (88, 94) while Austin Zehel finished tied for 28th after a 187 (96, 91).
