Three in Double Figures Lead Marywood to CSAC Win

Scranton, Pa. - Three players in double figures led Marywood's women's basketball team to a 69-49 win over visiting Clarks Summit University Wednesday evening in CSAC action.

The Pacers (4-8, 2-1 CSAC) received 11 points apiece from Erika Bistran, Alyssa Olson and Gab Giordano as Head Coach Tara Macciocco picked up her 195th career victory.

Clarks Summit (0-12, 0-3 CSAC) got a game high 25 points from Torri Erdman.  Erdman was 6-of-14 from the field and 12-of-15 from the charity stripe in the loss.  Randi Traxler added 15 for the Lady Defenders while Natalie Tuffy grabbed a game best 11 boards.

Marywood hit over 43% of their first half shots while holding Clarks Summit to 24% shooting as the Pacers built a 36-25 lead at the half.

Despite some cold shooting from both teams from the field in the second half (30% from Marywood and 23.3% for the Defenders), Marywood controlled tempo and cruised to the 20 point win.

The Pacers had 22 assists in the game while holding the visitors to just 10 helpers.

Marywood travels to Rosemont College Saturday for a 1:00 pm conference matchup.
