Women's Basketball Preps for CSAC Playoffs with Finale Win

Allentown, Pa. – Marywood University finished its women's basketball regular season schedule with a 86-40 victory over Cedar Crest on Saturday in Colonial States Athletic Conference action. With the No. 4 seed already booked, the Pacers will host fifth-seeded Centenary University in the first round on Monday night.

Erika Bistran finished with a team-high 18 points. She made four 3-pointers to increase her single-season school record to 70 and cracks the Top 10 for most in CSAC history.

For the second straight game, the Pacers broke the single-game 3-pointer record. Marywood made 18 of 35 from long distance for a 51.4 percent mark.

Aryah Aungst provided the Pacers with 14 points. The freshman guard had an all-around effort with four 3-pointers, six rebounds and five assists.

Catie Nealon reached double figures with 13 points. She made a trio of 3-pointers to move to second all-time in school history with 136.

Natasha Hessling had 14 rebounds to move within four of the 500th for her career.

For the Falcons, Meghan Gregory led with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Geminii Cabrera had 15 points.

Marywood outscored Cedar Crest 22-5 in the first quarter.

The Pacers downed Centenary twice during the regular season. Marywood beat the Cyclones 78-63 for Tara Macciocco's 200th victory on Jan. 18. It ousted Centenary 90-77 for Gab Giordano's 1,000th career point.
