Men's Tennis Season Closes with Loss

Scranton, Pa. – Marywood men's tennis closed out their season today with a tough loss to Immaculata University, 9-0. Immaculata picked up their second win on the season to improve to 2-9 overall, 2-4 in the Colonial State Athletic Conference.
 
Marywood's Ulises Munoz-Santos came on strong against Alex Brescia taking the first set 6-7 (5-7). Brescia was able to come back and win the next two sets to overcome Munoz-Santos in a pair of supersets, 10-7 and 10-5. Eddie Sanborn III fell to Immaculata's Chase Bernier (6-3, 6-2).
 
In doubles, Munoz-Santos teamed up with Sanborn to take on Bernier and Will Helm. Bernier and Helm beat the Marywood duo 8-5. In the first set of doubles Marywood's John Shebby and Brendan O'Rourke came up short against Alex Noel and Dom Ramsden (8-1).

Marywood finishes their season at 1-10 overall (1-6 CSAC).
