Keystone Overpowers Marywood, 13-4

Scranton, Pa. - 20th-ranked Keystone College improved to 11-0 in CSAC play (23-7 overall) with a 13-4 win over Marywood Tuesday afternoon in baseball action. The Pacers fell to 14-13 (4-5) with the loss.

Keystone used three homers, three doubles and a triple en route to the win.  Marywood got a 3-for-4 effort, including a pair of doubles, from red-hot sophomore Jake Schuster. 

The Giants scored three times in both teh second and third, and added five in the fourth, to build an early 11-0 lead.  Another run in the sixth put them up 12-0 before Marywood finally got on the board with two runs in the seventh.

Starter Nathan Hinkley went six full inning, striking out seven for his fourth win of the year (4-0).  Marywood's Michael Tempel (0-1) suffered the loss.

Marywood and Keystone will close their regular season series Thursday with a 3:30 pm game in LaPlume.
