Maini Scores 100th Career Goal in Regular Season Finale Win

La Plume, Pa. - Marywood University senior Rob Maini became just the fifth student-athlete in men's lacrosse program history to score 100 goals. Maini had five goals in the Pacers' 20-6 regular season finale win over Keystone College on Wednesday night. 

Maini's five goals puts him at 102 goals for his career. He is three goals short of leapfrogging into third place in school history. 

Luke Shedler joined Maini with five pooints on three goals and two assists. Jeff Johnsen finished with a hat trick. 

Marywood's bench flourished with two-goal performances by Patrick Dingwell and Austin Maylor. Matt Mitarotonda and Matt Casto each finished with a goal and assist. 

The Pacers received a goal from seniors Sean Higgins and Kyle Butera. Butera also added three ground balls. 

Senior Riley Litman extended his school record with 18 faceoff wins. He also contributed with nine ground balls. 

Zach Vaughan, Justin Einwechter and Ryan Matthews each finished with three ground balls. 

Keystone's Caleb Strope finished with three goals and an assist. Alec Lloyd picked up five ground balls. 

Matt Leen earned the win in his second career start with one save. Jared Chichizola made three stops. 

Marywood will head to Gwynedd Mercy University Saturday as the No. 3 seed in the CSAC tournament.
