Women's Tennis Downed by Scranton

Scranton, Pa. – Women's Tennis was downed by University of Scranton 9-0 in their second match of the weekend. The Pacers fall to 1-3 as the Royals improve to 2-0.
 
Scranton's Emily Kelly came out on top of Marywood's Emily Zarrilli in the third set of singles play (6-3, 6-2). The Pacer's Gina Babcock fell to Lindsay Roberto 6-2 in the first set and came just short in their second set falling 7-5. Roberto's teammate Kristen Denniston defeated Devin Zombek (6-3, 6-2).
 
In doubles play Emily Kelly teamed up with Nastashia DeNunzio to beat the Pacers duo of Emily Zarrilli and Devin Zombek (8-0). The Royal team of Emilia Jakubek and Tatiana Klacko downed Danielle Ogonowski and Gina Babcock 8-4.
 
The Pacers will be traveling to Moravian College for their next matchup on Tuesday October 3rd at 4pm.
