Men's Soccer Slips to Griffins, 1-0

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - Marywood University fell to Gwynedd Mercy University 1-0 Wednesday in Atlantic East Conference men's soccer action. The Pacers suffered their first loss of the season. 

The Griffins' Mike Czajka scored the lone goal in the 48th minute. 

Marywood outshot the Griffins by a 9-4 clip and 7-3 on target. The Pacers had five corners to the Griffins' three. 

The Griffins' Tyler Blair finished with seven saves for the clean sheet. Mike Gallagher totaled two saves. 

Marywood welcomes Marymout on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
