Men's Soccer Falls to Immac to Close 2019 Season

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University finished its men's soccer season with a 2-0 loss to Immaculata University Wednesday in its Atlantic East Conference finale. The Pacers were eliminated by way of Gwynedd Mercy University holding the tiebreaker to the final spot in the conference playoffs. 

Nick Boule put the Mighty Macs ahead in the 41st minute on a cross that he triple-touched before finding the inside post. 

Immaculata doubled its lead on an own goal scored in the 54th minute. 

Immaculata had a 13-8 advantage in shots and outshot the Pacers 5-2 on target. They had a 7-2 favor in corner kicks. 

Marywood goalkeeper Mike Gallagher finished his career with three saves.
