Scranton, Pa. – Marywood University men's tennis lost to Clarks Summit University Tuesday afternoon, 9-0. Marywood falls to 0-5 on the year as Clarks Summit improves to 3-1.
Joseph Weber was in the closest match of the day for the Pacers. Weber lost both sets 6-3 to Jordan Johansen.
Joey Burridge came up short for the Pacers as he faced Eric Bixby (6-1, 6-1). Marywood's
Rohan Patel fell to Evan Griffen 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, Marywood's team of Patel and Burridge were no match for Hugh Hayner and Evan Michel losing 8-2. In the other doubles match Noah Macey and Evan Griffen beat the Pacers' duo of
Momar Fall and
Jarrod Palmer 8-1.
The Pacer will compete in their first Atlantic East Conference match up this Saturday April 6
th as they travel to Cabrini University.
