Men's Tennis Season Ends with Loss to Neumann

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University's men's tennis season came to an end with a 7-0 loss to Neumann University Saturday afternoon in Scranton.

The Pacers close the year at 0-10 (0-4 Atlantic East) while the Knights improved to 7-3 (3-1 AEC) and advance to the conference playoffs.

In the tightest match of the afternoon, Joey Burridge fell to Shane Marino in the three-singles slot 6-7 (4-7), 4-6.  Jarrold Palmer fell to Zach Dinkin at two-singles 0-6, 0-6, while Neumann's Jordan Collins handled Momar Fall in the top singles spot, 6-0, 6-1.

Fall and Palmer fell to John Beck and Evan King at one-doubles.  

Today's match marked the final in the career of senior captain Fall.
