River Hawks' Offense Too Much for Pacers

Marywood continues Atlantic East play on Saturday at Wesley

Scranton, Pa. – Marywood University dropped a 16-5 decision to Susquehanna University Tuesday in non-conference men's lacrosse action. The River Hawks jumped out from the start to score 10 of the first 11 goals of the game.

Zach Vaughan led the Pacers with three points on two goals and an assist. Luke Shedler, Zach Beja and Eric Morin each contributed a goal and an assist.

Luke McFadden provided the Pacers with five ground balls. Beja garnered four ground balls, and Tyler Wren caused a pair of turnovers.

Alex Lorence won 5 of 10 faceoffs. Matt Leen made 13 saves in net with three ground balls.

Susquehanna's Colton Dick tallied seven assists. Jack Donnelly totaled five scores and four ground balls.

Marywood will head to Wesley College in an Atlantic East battle. The Pacers have faced the Wolverines once in school history. Marywood edged Wesley 8-7 when William Roerden and Nicholas Parks broke open a 6-6 tie with two goals in an eight-second span on March 14, 2010.
