Peri Sheerin continued her trek towards 1,000 kills with a match-best 12 kills and .526 attack percentage.

Marywood's front line posed problems for the visiting Broncos. Ashley King had a hand in five blocks (two solo, three assist), and Mikayla Attwood assisted four blocks. Nicole Cashman had a solo block and three assists.

Defensively, Jordan Vossler recorded 16 digs.

Sam Compton totaled eight kills and four aces for the Pacers (4-6).

SUNY-Delhi (5-1) received help from Witchney Clersainville with 10 kills and a .304 attack percentage. Shelby Nolan had 14 digs.

Marywood's only fresh start came in the first set. Burgos' serves gave way to an early 4-1 advantage that the Pacers maintained throughout the set. Sheerin closed out the first with three-straight kills from Sheerin.

The Pacers found themselves embroiled in a 6-1 deficit in the second set. Marywood closed in to tie the match at 16-16 on a Vossler ace. The Broncos came back with four of the next five point and were within two (23-22) of evening the match. Compton secured the set with three consecutive kills.

In almost similar fashion, a seven-point SUNY-Delhi run caged the Pacers at a 7-1 disadvantage. Marywood responded in kind with a six-point run, tying the set at 7-7 on a Compton kill. After two more ties, the Pacers broke open, taking a 14-10 lead on an Emily O'Brien kill.

Marywood hits the road on Tuesday to take on Ursinus College. The Pacers trail the series 3-2 since 2008.
