Brevard Knocks Off Women's Tennis, 7-2

Orlando, Fla. - Marywood University women's tennis closed their spring break trip with a 7-2 setback to Brevard College at Lake Cane Courts in Orlando.  The Pacers fell to 4-3 on the year while Brevard improved to 6-4.

In doubles action, Abigail Doud and Lyndsey Medric fought hard but fell 8-5 to Margaret Correll and Jen Cox at #2 doubles.  

In singles, Allison Bashore and Karah Laboranti earned Marywood's only two points of the match.  Bashore was a 6-4, 6-1 winner over Cox at #3 while Laboranti wa a 6-1, 6-3 winner over Sarah Iocovozzi.

With Marywood's spring sports season temporarily suspended until March 23, the Pacers are set to return to action Saturday, March 28 at Pratt Institute.
