Volleyball Swept at Rutgers-Camden Tri-Match

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Camden, N.J. — Marywood University dropped a pair of volleyball matches Saturday at the Rutgers-Camden tri-match. The Pacers fell in three sets to both Rutgers-Camden and Merchant Marine.

The Scarlet Raptors defeated the Pacers by scores of 25-7, 25-14, 25-15. Marywood fell 25-18, 25-22, 25-20 to the Mariners.

In the loss to the Rutgers-Camden, Rebecca Klemovitch finished with three solo blocks. Sara Burgos finished with eight digs and nine assists.

Rutgers-Camden had eight kills from Dyamond Free. Morgan Fox made 19 digs.

In the loss to Merchant Marine, Shannon Corr posted six kills. Casey Hagerstrom had five kills, three blocks and three aces.

Donna Bostjancic recorded nine digs, and Burgos totaled 18 assists.

Marywood (7-11) travel to Cabrini University Thursday to open its Atlantic East Conference season.
