Women's Soccer to Face Stockton in ECAC

Danbury, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced Alfred University will be the overall top-seed of the 2021 ECAC Division III Women's Soccer Championship. Marywood is the #3 seed in Pod 2 and will face #2 Stockton University Saturday at 5:00 pm at FDU-Florham in Madison, N.J. 

Alfred and Fairleigh Dickinson University – Florham will be the sites of the first two rounds.

Tickets will be on sale at gate of Robert T. Shields Field at FDU one hour prior to game. Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students and $2 for children (children 6 and under will be admittted free of charge).

First round play of the tournament will begin on Saturday, November 13.

In pod 1 hosted by Alfred, the top overall seeded Saxons play No. 4 Westminster College. No. 2 Mount Saint Mary College will play No. 3 seed William Paterson University.

In pod 2 hosted by FDU – Florham the No. 1 Devils will play No. 4 Rutgers University – Newark. No. 2 Stockton University will play against No. 3 Marywood University.

The winners of each pod will go on to compete in the final round on Saturday, November 20, hosted by the higher seed.

Pod 1 First Round - Saturday, Nov. 13 & Sunday, Nov. 14 at Alfred University
Game 1: (Sat.): No. 1 Alfred vs. No. 4 Westminster at 11:00 a.m.
Game 2: (Sat.): No. 2 MSMC vs. No. 3 William Paterson at 2:00 p.m.

Game 3 (Sun.): Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2 at 12:00 p.m.

Pod 2 First Round - Saturday, Nov. 13 & Sunday, Nov. 14 at FDU – Florham
Game 1: (Sat.): No. 2 Stockton vs. No. 3 Marywood at 2:00 p.m.
Game 2: (Sat.): No. 1 FDU – Florham vs. No. 4 Rutgers - Newark at 7:30 p.m.


Game 3 (Sun.): Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2 at 12:00 p.m.

Championship – Saturday or Sunday, Nov. 20 or 21 at TBD
Winner Pod 1 vs. Winner Pod 2 - 12:00 p.m.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-two-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III.
