Purdy's Double-Double Downs Delhi

Scranton, Pa. - Junior forward Savannah Purdy lifted Marywood University to a 75-41 victory over SUNY Delhi Tuesday in women's basketball action. The Pacers improve their record to 5-3 on the season. 

Purdy posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Purdy made half of her 20 attempts from the field and contributed four steals. 

Faith Kendricks came off of the bench to provide 11 points. Lexie Rizzo and Bethany Maby added eight points. 

Stephanie Klemick added to her Division III-leading blocks total with five put-backs. Klemick led the Pacers with 12 rebounds, in addition to eight points. 

Defensively, Kilie Wyers corralled 10 rebounds. Jade Rolon factored in with eight assists and four steals. 

Marywood shot 40 percent from the field. The Pacers out-rebounded the Broncos by a 63-32 margin. 

Delhi received 13 points from Angelica Lazo. Marissa Kupris added nine points and eight rebounds. 

The Pacers head to Susquehanna University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
