Women's Tennis Downs Lancaster Bible to Open Season

Scranton, Pa. - Marywood University opened the 2021 women's tennis season with a 6-3 victory over Lancaster Bible College on Tuesday. 

Faith Kendricks picked up both singles and doubles wins. Kendricks won No. 3 singles by scores of 7-6(3), 6-1. She teamed with Lyndsey Medric to edge the No. 2 singles with a 8-7 victory, winning the extra point by a 9-7 score. 

Emily Edwards earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at the No. 4 singles. Jennifer Price notched a 6-4, 6-4 victory in the No. 5 position. 

Julia Cicco outlasted the Chargers' Chloe Campbell with a comeback win by scores of 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. 

The duo of Adriana Giammarino and Elsa Kovatch rounded out the Pacers' points with a 8-2 decision.
