Men's Tennis Drops Semifinal Match to Cabrini

Radnor, Pa. - Top seed Cabrini University cruised to a 5-0 win over #4 Marywood University to advance to the 2021 Atlantic East Conference Men's Tennis Championships this weekend.

Marywood forfeited matches at #3 doubles and #6 singles to fall in a 0-2 hole before the match started.The Pacers fell 8-4 at #1 doubles and 8-2 at #2 doubles and trailed 4-0 entering singles competition.

There, Ryan Calderaro downed David Chemidlin 6-1, 6-2 at five-singles to secure the win for the Cavaliers.

Marywood closes their season with a 2-3 record. Cabrini, in search of their fourth straight Conference title, will face #3 Immaculata, a 5-2 winner over #2 Gwynedd Mercy, in the AEC Championship Saturday.
