Volleyball Dominates Defenders for Three-Set Win

Clarks Summit, Pa. – Marywood University allowed just four kills in a 3-0 victory over Clarks Summit University Tuesday in non-conference volleyball. The Pacers won by scores of 25-10, 25-8, 25-9.
 
Casey Hagerstrom, Rebecca Klemovitch and Amanda Perri each tied for a team-high six kills. Both Hagerstrom and Klemovitch had just one error, and Klemovitch tallied four aces. Perri had a career-best nine digs.
 
Sara Burgos provided a double-double with 18 assists and 10 digs. Bethany Burns totaled three aces.
 
The Defenders' Melanie Stabler tallied eight digs.
 
Marywood shot .263 as a team. The Pacers evened their record to 6-6 on the season.
 
The Pacers look to add one to the win column Thursday when they travel to Bryn Athyn College.
