Franceski Finishes 9th at AEC Championships

Sugarloaf, Pa. - Freshman Maddie Franceski finished ninth overall at the 2022 Atlantic East Women's Golf Championship Friday afternoon at Valley Country Club outside Hazleton. Franceski was the only Pacer to compete in the event.

Franceski shot a 111 on the par 71, 5635 yard course. Marymount University's Hunter Gillis was +6 with her round of 77 as she took home top medalist honors.

Marymount won the team title for the third consecutive year after shooting a 341 (+57), well ahead of Neumann University who finished runner-up with a 587. Cabrini, Marywood and New Jersey City University had individual golfers but did not compete for the team championship.

Marymount also had Noelle Jensen tie for second - with along with Ashley Ea of Cabrini. Both shot 14 over par rounds of 85. Marymount had Kate Parsons and Peyton Kraras finish fourth and fifth, respectively.
