Marywood Eliminated by Top-Seeded Cabrini in AEC Semis

Pacers were in earshot of first set before dropping two 25-12 scores

Radnor, Pa. — Fourth-seeded Marywood University fell to No. 1 Cabrini University in three sets Thursday in the Atlantic East Conference volleyball semifinal. The Pacers finish the season with a 14-16 overall record. 

Cabrini won by scores of 25-21, 25-12, 25-12. The Cavaliers will take on the Marymount University Saints in the championship for the fourth straight season. 

Shannon Corr recorded eight saves and a block assist. Mikayla Meek had five kills and seven assists. Emily O'Brien had four kills. 

Donna Bostjancic provided 12 digs. 

Cabrini's Hannah Dalton led with 14 kills and a .387 attack percentage. Gina Custer tallied 14 digs. 

Cabrini had a .247 hitting percentage to the Pacers' minus-.022.
