Men's Track & Field Open Outdoor Season at King's

Wilkes-Barre Twp., Pa. — Marywood University set a pair of men's track and field records in its outdoor season opener at King's College on Saturday. The Pacers won seven events.

Noah Zeigler won both the 100 and 200 dash. Zeigler took first with a school record time of 11.03 seconds. His time notched the team's first AARTFC qualifier of the season. He had the top 200 dash run, finishing in 23.13 seconds. Zeigler had the fourth-best time in Marywood history

George Thompson finished first in the 110 and 400 hurdles. Thompson broke the school record in the 400 hurdles, crossing the finish in 58.05 seconds. He was the top finisher in the 110 hurdles in 16.53 seconds.

Michael Kelly crossed the 400 meters in first place in 52.31 seconds. It ranked fifth in the Marywood record books.

In his outdoor debut, Jack Baronski won the 1,500 race. He finished in 4:10.89, placing third in program history. Thomas Lee was second in 4:15.62.

In the 800, John Russo ran the third-best time in school history. Russo had a finish of 2:04.72 for fourth place overall. Ryan Benedict was third in the high jump with a clear of 6 feet, ranking third in program history.

Rasheed Sexius-Clerie matched his PR of 38 feet, 7 inches in the triple jump.

Ryan Mathews set a personal record of 99 feet, 6 inches (30.34m).

Marywood's 4x100 relay of Zeigler, Thompson, Ryan Benedict and Noah Schock took first place in 43.79 seconds.
