Ten Named to CSC Academic All-District Teams

Greenwood, Ind. - Marywood University's Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track and Field teams placed 10 student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators 2024-25 Academic All-District Cross Country/Track and Field team, announced this week.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Cross Country/Track and Field team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track and field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

On the men's side, Joseph Cardillo, Thomas Lee, John Russo, KC Nwokedi and Tyler Hoysan were selected as CSC Academic All-District. Cardillo, Lee and Hoysan were selected for the second consecutive seasons.

The women's side announced Abby Megotz, Leah Zambetti, Lany Straub, Gabby Snee and Rosalyn Page to the Academic All-District team. Both Snee and Straub were named for the second straight season.

Both Straub and Page advanced to the national ballot.

Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 15, 2025.
