Pacers Fire on All Cylinders Against Cyclones

Marywood has won six of the past seven games

Scranton, Pa. — Marywood University won for the sixth time in the past seven games with a 28-2 win over Centenary University on Saturday in Atlantic East Conference men's lacrosse action. The Pacers received goals from 13 players. 

Prior to the game, Marywood (9-4, 2-1 AEC) honored seniors Connor Reed, Chris Tobin, Tyler Wren, Zach Saneman and Ben Mustakos.

In his first career start, Chris Tobin made five saves to notch the victory. 

Matt Manna and Dalton Metzger each finished with four goal and two assists for six points. Manna recorded three ground balls. 

Ben Mustakos finished with two goals and three assists for five points. John Scibello matched his offensive production with three goals and two assists. 

Entering the game with just one career goal, Tyler Wren had a hat trick and an assist. Dillon Kane scored twice and added an assist. 

Nick Ericson notched a goal and two assists. At the faceoff, he was 16 of 24 with 11 ground balls. Logan Sanders won 8 of 10 faceoff attempts with five ground balls and a goal. 

Gave Stover and Zach Saneman each had two goals. 

Defensively, Seth Croll led with two caused turnovers and four ground balls. 

In goal, Connor Reed made two saves in a scoreless period, and Luke Kolakowski stopped one. 

Marywood will travel to No. 14 Cabrini University on Wednesday.
