Men's Tennis Opens Spring Action with 8-1 Victory Against Clarks Summit

Box Score Scranton, Pa. - The Marywood University men's tennis team kicked off its spring season Tuesday, claiming an 8-1 victory over Clarks Summit University.

The Pacers won their first (McGreevy, Cawley) and third (Burke, Biggs) doubles matches. The #2 doubles match was the only one that the Defenders (Judson, Mileham) found a win in.

Marywood was perfect in singles play; McGreevy, Chemidlin, Cawley, Biggs, Burke, and Ni were all victorious in their matches, winning by a combined 12 games to two.

The Pacers return to action on Saturday in an Atlantic East Conference showdown at Neumann University.
